Cover Shows A Large Picture Of Completed Pattern, Sizes and Number Of Stitches For: 14, 18, 22 & 28 Count Aida Cloth
To determines the finished size of a cross stitch design is to calculate the number of stitches up, down & the thread count of the fabric you are using.
Use This Calculation Below:
Look at your chart and count the number of stitches in each direction.
Divide this number by the number of stitches to 2.5cm (1in) on the fabric of your choice and this will determine the completed design size.
For example, 250 stitches divided by 14-count Aida equals a design size of 17in.
We recommend adding an additional 3in. margin for stretching, framing or finishing.
Below is an Automatic Calculator (time saver)

Begin Stitching in the upper left corner of your fabric, starting with page 1 of your pattern (instead of the traditional way of beginning at the center of the pattern)
Stitch one (10 x 10) stitch block at a time, then move onto an adjacent 10 x 10 block. and continue in this manner until the entire page is stitched (Post-It notes work great for blocking off parts of the pattern grid!)
The numbers found in the corners of each page tell you which page gets stitched next to the one you are working on.
A scrolling frame is recommended for stitching our designs. Because of the large number of stitches in our patterns, our patterns take longer to stitch than ordinary cross stitch patterns, and using the hoop can make marks on the fabric.
Relax and enjoy watching you own masterpiece appear across your fabric one stitch at a time!
